The data service provides almost all data sets and applications which have been used in EEA’s periodical environmental reports.

AirBase - The European air quality database. Greenhouse gas emission projections for 2010 in Europe. EEA aggregated and gap filled air emission data. National Emission Ceilings (NEC) Directive Inventory. National emissions reported to the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP Convention). Nationally designated areas (National - CDDA). Land cover flows based on Corine land cover changes database. Etc.

EIONET - European environment information and observation network (Agence européenne de l’environnement)
> Voir le site

Eionet is a partnership network of the European Environment Agency (EEA) and its member and cooperating countries involving approximately 900 experts and more than 300 national institutions. The network supports the collection and organisation of data and the development and dissemination of information concerning Europe’s environment.
> GIS - Geospatial data - Maps : links to guidelines, templates, services for use in EEA - EIONET when handling geographic information systems, maps and geographic spatial data.
> Eionet’s software : EEA has decided to release as much as possible of its Eionet software as Open Source using open standards such as OpenDocument. This is a logical followup to our previous decision of using Open Source technology as much as possible in Eionet.
> GEMET Thesaurus : GEneral Multilingual Environmental Thesaurus, has been developed as an indexing, retrieval and control tool for the European Topic Centre on Catalogue of Data Sources (ETC/CDS) and the European Environment Agency (EEA), Copenhagen.

ENHIS - European environment and health information system (Co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by WHO/Europe)
> Voir le site

Information on environment and health is often scattered across many institutions and gathered in non-standardized format. This site hosts comparable data and information on priority environment and health issues, selected on the basis of international policy frameworks on environment and health.

> Browse all indicators by themes : EEA has published many indicators online. You can find an indicator by browsing environmental themes : What is happening ? Environmental issues > Air pollution, Biodiversity, Chemicals, Climate change, Environment and health, Land use, Natural resources, Noise, Soil, Waste and material resources, Water, Various other issues - Why is it happening ? Sectors and activities > Agriculture, Energy, Fisheries, Household consumption, Industry, Population and economy, Tourism, Transport ; Environment in different regions and specific areas > Coasts and seas, Specific regions, Urban environment - Across environmental issues and sectors > Environmental technology, Policy instruments, Environmental scenarios.

> EEA Core Set of Indicators (CSI) : The EEA management board approved the core set of indicators in March 2004. The set has been established for three main purposes : to provide a manageable and stable basis for indicator-based reporting by the EEA ; to prioritise improvements in the quality and geographical coverage of data flows, especially Eionet priority data flows ; and, to streamline EEA/Eionet’s contributions to other European and global indicator initiatives, for example, EU structural indicators, EU sustainable development indicators and OECD environment indicators.

EU environment-related indicators (DG Environment)
> Voir le site

These leaflets present ten environment-related indicators that highlight trends relevant to the Sixth Environment Action Programme’s priority areas : Climate Change, Nature and Biodiversity, Environment and Health and Quality of Life, and Natural Resources and Waste. Some indicators show where improvements have been made, others where further action may be needed.
